The Vale of Leven Trust were established to develop the community of the Vale of Leven We are looking for people who love cycling and would like to help others increase their skills and confidence by becoming one of our cycle leaders. We are looking for confident cyclists with a friendly, welcoming and encouraging attitude. Vale of Leven Trust will provide you with the training and cycle leader qualification that you need for the role, they will help you to develop your leadership, management and communication skills as well as the satisfaction from supporting and encouraging members of the local community to stay active. Vale of Leven Trust would ask potential cycle leaders to attend four of the group rides to enable you to get a sense of how the rides operate.

The Vale of Leven Trust are developing a calendar of weekend activities such as our Line Dancing and Bingo Sunday Socials and are looking for people to join the weekend activities team, As a member of the team you will develop your team communication and management skills and get to interact and get involved with the local community. The Trust would ask potential volunteers to attend two of the Sunday Socials to get a sense of how the events operate.

Are you a person who loves being outdoors, who likes to meet new people and encourage others to stay active, the Vale of Leven Trust are looking for Walk Leaders who are enthusiastic and reliable and would be interested in becoming Social Walk Leaders. You will develop your Leadership, Management and Communication skills and gain the satisfaction of supporting and encouraging members of the local community to stay active, you will receive Walk Leader Training for your role. The Vale of Leven Trust would ask potential Social Walk Leaders to attend four social walks to understand how the walks run.

This is an exciting volunteer role for you to bring your experience, knowledge, and skills to the Management Committee that oversees The Vale of Leven Trust. As a small charity we are serving the local community with creativity and innovation, however we do need assistance from others to ensure we are reflecting on the needs, wants and aspirations of our community. We are looking for individuals who are interested in making a difference to both the local area and the lives of those who live in the area and the wider environ. Ideally you will be representative of the Vale of Leven or West Dunbartonshire. We are looking to expand our skill set and knowledge and in particular, we are looking for people with experience of: Financial Management Marketing & Branding Social Media Employment / Human Resources / People Management
