We all need to stay at home to protect ourselves and others. However, those who are well and not at risk can provide essential support for their family, friends and neighbours who cannot leave the house.

Current opportunity

This is a great opportunity to support a Citywide Sheltered Housing Committee and keep it independent. They meet once a month on a Thursday 2pm – 4pm in the Town Centre. There are about 30 members from all over the city and they want to remain an independent group. They have a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary but just unable to minute the meeting so would welcome your expertise. They are a highly motivated group of retired people who want to be part of their housing service. The meetings are quite informal, there is always a laugh and of course tea/coffee and biscuit is provided. A great, enjoyable opportunity to help and make a positive difference.
