Current opportunity

Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre (FVRCC) provides specialist support for anyone, aged 13+, affected by sexual violence in the Forth Valley area (Clackmannanshire, Falkirk, and Stirling). FVRCC’s vision is a world where everyone is safe from sexual violence. FVRCC provides free and confidential information, advocacy, and support to anyone affected by sexual violence. This includes survivors of sexual violence, their friends, and families. FVRCC also provide advice, support, and training to staff in other agencies who are working with survivors. FVRCC is a feminist organisation, which underpins all the work they do. The centre is women-led and offers a safe space and support to survivors regardless of their gender. FVRCC is now looking to recruit a Treasurer to join their Board. The charity is looking for a Treasurer to lead on financial oversight, budgets, banking, governance, reporting and audit oversights. Previous board experience is not essential however the Treasurer will have strong experience in understanding financial statements as well as knowledge of financial risks and processes.
