Our social enterprise Restart Orkney sells furniture, household items, white goods and clothing at affordable prices.
Volunteers needed to undertake all aspects of retail business with Restart Orkney.
Restart are looking for one or possibly two van assistants. Age is not an issue but they must be able to lift/ unload and load furniture.
There will be a two shift trial period, and the vacancy is only until the end of June.
Restart are also looking for a Volunteer storeperson to help lift and carry furniture (some of which can be heavy), also to meet and greet customers dropping off donations in yard. This would is a great opportunity for someone who relishes getting stuck in but who also enjoys social interaction with customers.

Restart are looking for volunteer van driver, to pick up small electrical items from customer’s houses every Friday commencing 25th September. The volunteer will need to be over 25 with a full, clean licence to satisfy insurance requirements. This is a great opportunity to make an environmental difference locally, whilst helping those on low incomes.
