Current opportunities

Do you enjoy working with people? We are looking for volunteers who can provide practical support to those who are facing financial pressures. The Bridge Support Adviser works alongside the Money Adviser and offers support that will help the client gain the skills that they need to make real change to their Financial Wellbeing. You will assist the client to identify their hopes and to work within the remit of improving their financial wellbeing, to support the client to meet these goals. This may involve working with the client to find ways of getting the best deal with utilities/phone etc or more practically with meal planning, shopping and cooking habits. Each client will have their own individual needs and the Bridge Support Adviser will help the client gain the skills they need to reach their goals. We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about people and can support those facing financial hardship to regain financial control and move forward positively by delivering money advice and assist clients to reach debt solutions. The Money Adviser works alongside a Support Adviser to assist our clients to regain control of their finances. The Money Adviser builds a relationship that will reduce the clients stress and assists them to gain an accurate view of their finances. You will then help the client find solutions to their money concerns. The Money Adviser will assist the client to manage any debt they have and may negotiate with creditors on their behalf. The Money Advisers work with their clients until such times as the client is debt free or feels able to manage their own finances. Are you organized? Do you have a passion for people? We are looking for some Administration to support our Financial Wellbeing work. You will be help people in financial hardship regain financial control and move forward by ensuring that the clients Hope Plan Goals are actioned. The Financial Wellbeing Administration Support will assist our Advisers to maintain full and accurate case records in accordance with Bridge Money Advice Service systems and support the team as they negotiate with creditors on our clients behalf. This will ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of advice & support possible and will have a significant impact on their Financial Wellbeing.
