We all need to stay at home to protect ourselves and others. However, those who are well and not at risk can provide essential support for their family, friends and neighbours who cannot leave the house.
Dundee City Council Sheltered Housing Service provides housing and support services for older people throughout Dundee. We aim to have a sheltered housing service where our tenants are respected, have choices in the services they receive and are able to lead independent and fulfilling lives free from restraint in a safe environment.
Services include the provision of social activities to help maintain well being and reduce isolation. Volunteers help organise and run a range of activities within the communal areas such as crafts, games and entertainment. Volunteers support groups and individual tenants to take part.
