Current opportunity

By volunteering to assist in our trading spaces you will be helping with the smooth running of the trading department and generating much needed, important income for WWT. Our trading support volunteers help our team across the retail and catering operations at Caerlaverock Wetland Centre and ensure we deliver excellent customer service to our visitors. Volunteers will assist the catering team with clearing of tables and supporting behind-the-scenes with tasks such as washing up and loading the dishwasher as well as assisting with the preparation of hot and cold beverages. Volunteers also assist the retail team, visitor services team and catering team to provide a warm, friendly welcome to all visitors, giving information about our wetland centres and products. Volunteers also help keep the trading spaces fully stocked, clean and tidy, ensuring great presentation of products, monitoring numbers accessing indoor spaces, observing social distancing by our visitors, assisting with visual merchandising, pricing, checking off deliveries, and counts as required.
