Current opportunities

Volunteer will support our Green Futures Project team in delivering energy efficiency advice home visits, cycling for beginners training to adults, support community members to grow their own food at both individual and community gardens and guiding walks. Become a community champion in raising awareness of climate change, Helping in organising social events/workshops and focus group discussions, Assisting in taking and booking appointments for the energy home visits etc.

SCOREscotland Community Fridge Volunteer required to help us cut food waste, build stronger bonds within the community and redistribute good quality food. The tasks involved are, help us find businesses to donate food to the fridge, collection of food from donors, fridge cleaning and monitoring, promoting our fridge on social media, organising events and fundraisers to support the fridge and the local community

We are a small organisation strengthening communities for race equality in Wester Hailes. We are in urgent need of a taskforce of creative and motivated individuals to use the time between April and June to: - research, identify and document fundraising opportunities (marathons, events etc.) - design a number of calls to donate for social media - research and reach out to potential partners (artists, businesses etc.) - develop more creative ideas for fundraising (maybe even an own event?)
