Current opportunities

If you can spare just one day a week to be at home and would like to chat to people on the phone and help arrange for our members to get to their appointments, then you may like to become on the our volunteer telephonists!

You may feel that you could become part of our group and make an active contribution to the scheme. If you feel that you have something to offer then you can consider applying to become a member of the committee which meet about 4 times per year.

Volunteer drivers provide transport and help using their own vehicle to our members so that they can attend appointments or opportunities to socialise. This transport scheme is vital for many people who cannot readily access tranpsort. You will be joining a pool of volunteer drivers who are all kind and considerate and like meeting new friends. A mileage allowance of 45p a mile will be paid to you.
