Dunbeath Heritage Trust is situated in the old schoolhouse in Dunbeath and was two walled gardens as well as many other areas in the village owned by the Trust. They are looking for volunteers with an interest in gardening to help maintain and/or develop some of the community spaces. This is an opportunity to help this community organisation while doing something you enjoy. Support and guidance for all volunteers is readily available to help you join the team.
Dunbeath is developing community projects within the Centre linked to heritage, education and archives. and the wider community. They are working in partnership with other groups to deliver projects. The groups are looking for Volunteers to help the development worker. If you want to meet people, develop skills and support this fragile community, get in touch to discuss further
If you have a few hours free to help during opening times 10-4pm weekdays, training and support provided. This is a rural museum located in Dunbeath Caithness we provide historic and cultural information to the public and is primarily operated by volunteers. opening hours are subject to change dependant on the availability of volunteers. the aim is to make Dunbeath Heritage Museum a destination point rather than a drive-through location, but volunteer support needed in the museum. Volunteers needed all year around to help with inventory and 'behind the scenes' work
