Orkney Youth Cafe

The Orkney Youth Café is a drop-in service funded by Orkney Alcohol and Drugs Partnership. We open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays to offer young people aged 11-21 a place to socialise with friends and enjoy a wide variety of fun activities as well as free Wi-Fi available. We also offer a signposting service to various organisations around Orkney. Previous projects include: a Retro Gaming Night, Mental Health Awareness Week, 'Question Time' styled event, a residential trip to Aviemore, trip to the Picky spa and much more.

The Youth cafe are looking for volunteers who would like to support their staff to deliver Youth Services in the Orkney Youth Cafe.

The Orkney Youth Cafe are looking for a volunteer who would like to support them in their Admin roles and tasks. You can get invovled with basic admin tasks to helping with their website/Facebook page and any other skills/knowledge you bring to the role.

The Orkney Youth Café are looking for a volunteer for the role of secretary on the Board of Directors. The board meet up once a month to discuss board business, for example; staffing, funding, general running of the Youth Café. The secretary would be expected to help with duties such as funding applications, taking minutes at meetings and general adminestrative tasks.
