We all need to stay at home to protect ourselves and others. However, those who are well and not at risk can provide essential support for their family, friends and neighbours who cannot leave the house.

Current opportunities

Al Masaar provide opportunities for mothers who are new to Falkirk and within the ethnic minority community to learn and develop new skills. We have a room set up for a crèche with toys and activities - we just need you! Our project, Wee Steps, is a mothers and babies/toddlers group, where we support and nurture mothers. Whilst they are developing their skills, we need a reliable and friendly person to look after and engage the children with activities. This is a great opportunity to get experience with children whose first language may not be English.

Contribute to the growth of this small charity which has the potential to expand in providing support to vulnerable, disadvantaged families in the Forth Valley region. You will take our share our vision on inclusion and aims to provide opportunities to develop empowerment in young people and families and use your experience and expertise to help lead us into our next stage of growth to increase our impact. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can help with the planning and execution of further opportunities as well keeping our established services thriving. The secretary will work with our existing partners and establish new ones who will share our values and bring more opportunities to our members.
