77th (Braid) Scout Group (Royal Blind School)

To provide those with visual and physical disabilities the opportunity to experience Scouting.

Current opportunity

Weekly Scout meetings include games, Scout-craft, appropriate learning and the earning of badges (no prior Scouting experience necessary). All of our Scouts (aged 11-24) have some form of visual impairment, and many also have additional support needs and life limiting conditions. Some will require assistance in moving around a room or participating in activities; many are in wheelchairs. You will be directly working with the Scouts to support them to participate fully in our activities.
