We all need to stay at home to protect ourselves and others. However, those who are well and not at risk can provide essential support for their family, friends and neighbours who cannot leave the house.
Our mission is to help everyone (particularly older people) to get online, promoting social inclusion and benefiting all of us. We do this where people are – in their own homes or the places where they feel ‘at home’ in the local community. As far as the latter is involved, currently we're supporting people in sheltered housing complexes run by Viewpoint Housing Association and a Community Centre. We are also working towards enabling people with conditions that mean they need more intensive or ongoing support (e.g. Dementia, Stroke, sight or hearing loss etc) to tap into the benefits of the internet.
