North Edinburgh Arts is the focus for creativity in Greater Pilton. Through partnership working and ongoing local and city consultation the award winning Centre, opened in 2002, acts as the cultural centre of the community, providing a safe, enjoyable and creative environment for people of all ages to relax and develop within.


Current opportunities

This role is for anyone interested in learning about gardening, particularly growing fruit and veg, or who want to get some exercise in the fresh air. The main pupose of the role is to support our community gardener to maintain our large garden, and involves Basic gardening tasks, e.g. weeding. Growing fruit and vegetables. Learning gardening skills. This is suitable for all ages and abilities - we welcome beginners. We also particularly welcome volunteers from our local community.

North Edinburgh Arts seeks enthusiastic people who would like to get experience working with children, young people & families in an outdoor environment. The volunteer would support our children & families gardening worker with our regular sessions, focusing on gardening, nature, the environment and conservation. Main tasks are setting up, assisting , tidying up after & evaluating session and other gardening work. Some sessions may take place offsite as part of a trip.
