64th Stockbridge Scout Group

The Aim of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.


Current opportunities

We are looking for new volunteers both male and female to help to run a well established Cub Pack. The Cub Pack is part of an active Scout Group with Beavers (ages 6-8) and Scouts (11 to 15) ensuring a regular stream of new entrants. We meet regularly on a Friday evening, but also take part in various activities involving other Cub Packs. The main commitment needed is somebody who is going to be prepared to commit to regular attendance on a Friday evening: to get involved leading the activities.

We are looking for new volunteers both male and female to help restart our Scout Troop. The Scout Troop will be part of an active Scout Group - together with Beavers (ages 6-8) and Cubs (ages 8-10) ensuring a regular stream of new entrants. We plan to meet regularly on a Friday evening, but will also take part in various activities involving other Scout Troops including Swimming and Camping Competitions, indoor football and "Unihoc". We are looking for new volunteers both male and female to help to run the Beaver Colony. The Beaver Colony is part of an active Scout Group - together with Cubs (ages 8-10) ensuring a regular stream of new entrants. We meet regularly on a Wednesday evening, but also take part in various activities involving other Beaver Colonies. The main commitment needed is somebody who is going to be prepared to commit to regular attendance on a Wednesday evening: to get involved leading the youngsters.
