Who Cares? Scotland ( Dundee)

Charity registered in Scotland SC026076

We are a voluntary organisation and we work directly with Scotland’s children and young people with experience of care. We listen to what they say, support them and speak out on behalf of them.

We place young people at the heart of everything we do to help them live a positive life now and to reach their full potential in the future.

Current opportunity

Who Cares? Scotland is Scotland’s only national membership organisation for Care Experienced people. We are looking for a Volunteer Admin & Membership Assistant who can provide a strong foundation to help strengthen our Care Experienced membership by providing essential admin tasks to help us build our membership and engage our members. The role will involve working within a dynamic and passionate Membership & Participation team across our Glasgow and Paisley offices, undertaking a variety of admin tasks including the management of membership packs, marketing, managing confidential information and engaging with new and existing members. This role will take place in our Glasgow office in Wellington street with the possibility of some tasks taking place at our Paisley office. Unfortunately our Glasgow office is inaccessible however, our Paisley office is fully accessible. This role will involve admin tasks but there will also be the option to interact with members at our National events that happen throughout the year. This role will help build our membership and ensure our members are positively involved with us. Who Cares? Scotland is a people organisation. We invest in our people, our relationships and in a positive working culture. It’s important to us that our volunteer team is included, involved and motivated to change society. We aim to recruit people with excellent qualities from a wide variety of backgrounds who share in our mission. We particularly welcome applications from individuals with care experience. If you are interested, please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow on info@volunteerglasgow.org.
