Current opportunities

As a yard/warehouse assistant you will participate in a variety of tasks including loading/unloading vans, getting deliveries organised for the driver, moving stock within the warehouse, sorting and de-nailing reclaimed timber, keeping the warehouse area tidy and ensuring stock levels on the shop floor are maintained. This is quite a physically active role and will involve the use of sack trolley’s and pallet trucks to move most items. Training and PPE will be provided. All volunteering opportunities in the warehouse/yard are during the week only. If you are interested, please click "Apply", and we'll be in touch to arrange a chat and a visit to the centre. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow on info@volunteerglasgow.org.
