FMF delivers its various services to support individuals to realise equal opportunity and equal treatment in accessing and benefiting from public service. Currently we operate projects that seek to address issues of isolation, discrimination, welfare rights, unemployment, and housing problems of migrants in Fife Council area. We also provide excellent opportunities for integration trough volunteering for individuals from all different ethnic minority backgrounds.

Current opportunity

Fife Migrants' Forum provides information, advice and support services for migrants and ethnic groups in Fife. the Forum is looking for a volunteer to cover reception for an indefinite period of time. Experience isn't required; however, you need to be outspoken, computer literate, confident, skilled in communication, and ablet o communicate fluently in English (a second language would be good but isn't essential). Your duties would be to welcome clients, book appointments, answer the phone, communicate with members of staff, provide basic help to clients with urgent needs, and to contact third parties. In exchange the Forum offer travel expenses, experience, references, and the opportunity of working within a magnificent team.
