Are you ready to pedal a bicycle made for two?
Look no further than Talking Tandems!
Talking Tandems is a small community tandem cycling club based in Central and West Fife. The club assists riders who are blind and sight- impaired to go cycling by recruiting Sighted Volunteer Riders who learn the skills and techniques of tandem cycling.

Current opportunity

Do you like cycling and are you looking for an opportunity to develop your skills by becoming a Volunteer Tandem Pilot? Our riders who are blind and sight-impaired need you to go tandem cycling together! The Volunteer Sighted Pilots will be assisting our riders to reach their personal tandem cycling goals while improving your solo bike techniques to tandem cycling. Volunteers will be required to become a full member of Talking Tandems and after induction training relevant to your current cycling skills, attend regular individual or group cycle rides which are delivered across Central and West Fife with occasional trips to East Fife, Forth Valley, Dundee and Edinburgh. Additionally the club deliver short tours across Scotland and occasionally to Europe.
