Walk leaders work as part of a team to lead short (up to an hour max) walks across Fife. The led health walks provide an opportunity for social contact in your local area in a supportive environment. Walking for Health is a great way to do some physical activity whilst gaining mental and social benefits. Walk leaders have an opportunity to meet new people and walk with people. They also have an opportunity to do this outside and keep active themselves. They provide walk leader training and ongoing support. Current leaders have gained a sense of achievement from encouraging and supporting others. You will be part of a national network of walk leaders in Scotland.
