Current opportunities

You will be helping provide practical and emotional support to people. Every individual will need different support from us to help, below are some examples of what you might support with: Taking someone on a short trip or helping them run errands, providing door-to-door assistance for an appointment or visit. Offering a trained volunteer escort and conveying passengers safely from their starting point to their final destination either in BRC vehicles or in the driver's own vehicle. Accompanying someone on a public transport journey, enabling clients to keep appointments safely and efficiently. Commitment: 1-3 Journeys per week, service operates Monday to Saturday. Minimum of 12 months commitment. Volunteers for this role must hold a full UK driving licence.

Location: Inverness Office Commitment: The service operates 7 days a week. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 8 months, 2 hours per week. Age: 18+
