Charity registered in Scotland SC029045

We provide support, learning and development opportunities for people and organisations. We provide guidance, support and training to Third Sector organisations and community groups. We enable people to engage with their local community, develop and learn new skills through volunteering. We also facilitate Third Sector representation at a local level.through our delegate system. Elected from with the Sector, delegates voice challenges and opinions on emerging issues, get involved in local decision making and champion the work of the Sector.

Current opportunities

If you would like to make a positive and lasting impact on a local young persons’ life and you can offer a few hours a week, then this opportunity might be perfect for you! Engage is a fantastic befriending project created to support young people aged 8 – 14 who are referred to the service for a variety of reasons. The aim is to create a befriending match between young person and volunteer/befriender to have lots of fun, increase self-esteem, confidence and motivation. The young people who can access the service often have siblings with additional support needs, are in care themselves, are young people attached to CAMHS or other mental health services and some are young people with chaotic lifestyles and home environments. With greater awareness of acceptable behaviour, we hope to bring positivity and nurture children that are experiencing very difficult and challenging lifestyles.
