The Allotment Market Stall

TAMS connect local home growers with the community

We help allotment holders sell excess produce and help locals have access to community grown food.

Current opportunities

Hi, this is a great opportunity to use your IT and marketing skills. We currently use wordpress, facebook and mailchimp to advertise our stalls and work. We have a marketing strategy in place and we really need help delivering it. As an organisation, we don’t have the skills to take our IT and marketing strategy any further, so we would be looking for you to have a really hands on approach to taking it forward with guidance from current members in terms of material to use. We are thinking you are currently a student on a digital marketing course looking for hands on experience or maybe you work, or have worked, in that field and have time to spare. The commitment would be a couple of hours a week throughout the year. You will learn lots about allotments, growing food locally and cooking with seasonal, locally grown produce. We are a friendly bunch of people who are enthusiastic about encouraging people to eat more fruit and veg, to grow their own, to reduce food miles and to reduce food waste from allotment sites. For further details please contact Cath Pilley at email:

The Allotment Market Stall provides good quality, well priced, locally grown fruit and vegetables and reduces waste. We have opportunities this season for volunteers to be a part of running our veg stall in the park *(either on Fridays at Duthie Park, Seaton Park or Victoria Park or on Saturdays at Bonnymuir Green). -Main tasks include: • Help set up the stall with gazebo, tables and crates • Sell fruit and vegetables to public • Help promote The Allotment Market Stall and the values of growing and eating good stuff • Engage with public to answer questions on our produce Full training is given and volunteers will be accompanied and supported at all times. • Make a difference in your city and the environment • Be a part of a community of growers • Meet people and grow in confidence Email us your contact details, availability and why you might like to get involved to email.:
