Healthcare Improvement Scotland

We are Healthcare Improvement Scotland, an organisation with many parts and one purpose - better quality health and social care for everyone in Scotland.

Current opportunity

Health Improvement Scotland (HIS) is part of the NHS in Scotland. Their job is to make sure that everyone in Scotland has the best possible health and care. This is a brand-new role and is one way they hope to better hear people's views on their work. You can help put people's different experiences of health services at the centre of the work they do by: -Sharing your views on some of their ideas and programmes to give them a better idea of what is important to people in your area -Helping HIS find out how people read and understand their reports, websites or information about health and care -Working with HIS when they are thinking about how to engage with people on a topic or a change. You can help shape and test their questions, test understanding of the topic and discover what is most important to people. HIS want to recruit volunteers with a range of different experiences and identities; you don’t need any healthcare related experience and volunteers can live anywhere in Fife to take part, for about 4 hours per month.
