Current opportunities

This is a wonderful opportunity for a volunteer to support local men in their supported living house in Stranraer to do activities and pass-times, including playing dominoes, cards and puzzles and generally have quality time and fun. The role is designed to have meaningful and positive outcomes for enjoyment, inclusion and health and wellbeing.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support a young woman with a learning difficulty in Annan to go out and about in the town to meet and greet people, have snacks, go shopping, the cinema, countryside walks , enjoy photography and to really spend time feeling included in the community. The role is designed to be fun but with meaningful outcomes for enjoyment, inclusion and health and wellbeing. No personal care is required.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a solo artist /duo or small group (amateur or professional) with a little spare time to help residents of the charity to enjoy the experience of live music of an evening in their shared supported living homes. The role is designed to be totally informal, fun and enjoyable but with the hope that all concerned having a really good time while reaping the life benefits that music brings. We would wish musicians to bring their own instruments/equipment but all other expenses would be paid.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support a local Stranraer woman with a learning disability to go out and about in the town to meet and greet people, have snacks, do light shopping and generally feel included in the community.
