We have opportunities for peer mentors who have personal experience of substance misuse and recovery. The opportunity is to support others through the recovery journey. We are looking for people who are willing to share their own experience of recovery to help others to sustain their recovery journey and build a meaningful life in their own community.
The role will involve working with staff to deliver group support sessions and also to support individuals in a befriending and advocacy support role. Training and support will be provided.
This role will be act as a volunteering lead to help support staff to develop an allotment that will be able to grow a variety of vegetables, and to provide guidance to other volunteers who are interested in learning more about gardening.
