In response to the pressures of the pandemic, NHSGGC have developed a mobile staff Rest & Recuperation Hub to support staff wellbeing. The mobile hub will visit all six Health & Social Care Partnerships in the NHSGGC area on a rotational basis. We will be coming to Renfrewshire between 21st - 24th November (locations will be at Johnstone Town Hall, Dykebar Hospital & Renfrewshire Health Centre). The hubs provide a staff only area with complimentary hot drinks and a place to eat, rest and take time away from work. The mobile hub should in many ways replicate the success of our R&R Hubs our 5 main Acute sites. The purpose of the volunteer role is to support the effective running of the Mobile Hub and to provide a warm welcome to staff and visitors making use of the space. 1)Welcome all staff members coming to the Mobile HUB 2)Engage with staff by chatting and providing a listening ear where appropriate 3)Help manage the HUB space, keeping it clean and tidy 4)Prepare and serve complimentary refreshments 5)Manage stock such as newspapers and snacks to ensure an adequate supply at different times of the day 6)Help foster a relaxed and welcoming environment
