Current opportunities

We are looking for volunteers to assist with our weekly adult services art classes where the emphasis is on encouraging creativity and developing artistic skills in a fun, supportive environment. This volunteering role will suit someone who is calm, friendly and helpful. It is also a good opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience of supporting adults with a range of learning disabilities, to get the most out of their time in a creative setting.

Female Befriender wanted for a woman in her 30's who we support, to meet up at weekends - Saturdays or Sundays, weekly or fortnightly for outings, social activities, coffee and chats.

Community Shopping Volunteers wanted to do a weekly shop for older and vulnerable people shielding in the Giffnock, Clarkston and Newton Mearns areas of East Renfrewshire. Commitment of one supermarket shop per week on a Monday or a Wednesday. Volunteers with their own car or bicycle required as deliveries are made direct to the customers home. COVID safe procedures in place

Volunteers who enjoy gardening wanted to maintain our front garden at May Terrace: * Cutting grass * Planting * Weeding * Trimming Seasonal - Spring through until Autumn.
