We are looking for someone with a friendly and pleasant manner, who can engage with people from all walks of life and make them feel welcome. This person should have good communication skills, excellent time keeping and be reliable and conscientious. The duties will include opening the building and ensuring the rooms/halls are set up appropriately for the various activities taking place on any given day. This may include opening/closing emergency exits to allow for equipment to be brought in (ie, bouncy castle). After each activity the volunteer would be responsible for cleaning and clearing up the centre, locking and securing the building and any other duties required for the next event. Shifts of 4-5 hours per week would be greatly appreciated.
