We are looking for Job Club Volunteers to assist job seekers in our Learning Centres in Elgin, Forres and Buckie Libraries. Job Club is held every Thursday in Elgin from 2-4pm, days and times for both Forres and Buckie to be decided, and is open to anyone who is looking to get back into work. Job Club is a structured time in our Learning Centres where job seekers can access staff assistance while applying or searching for jobs online, creating or revising resumes and cover letters, working on job logs and more.

Get DigITal dropins are aimed at individuals who need to build up their confidence in using new technologies. We require volunteers who can relate to people in a confident and supportive manner and who are very patient and understanding. Skills required for this opportunity are: Must be ICT literate Must have knowledge of using a range of digital devices Must be patient and friendly Must be reliable and committed to making a difference to individuals who need support

Moray Libraries are looking to recruit volunteers to help at the Job Club in Elgin Library. We are looking for people with particular skills, namely basic computer troubleshooting mainly with online job applications, ability to answer job seekers questions regarding resume, cover letter writing, interview skills, online job application filling out, job retention, etc. If you think you fit the bill and have some spare time on a Thursday, please get in touch. The Job Club runs every Thursday in Elgin Library from 10-4pm.
