Current opportunities

We redistribute food which would end up in waste, to non-profit organisations in Tayside and Fife. These groups then provide meals for people who are experiencing food poverty, social isolation or other hardships. We need Mentors who can give a few hours to help other volunteers with support needs. This is a vital part of providing this valuable service to thousands of individuals in need. Working as part of a team, the van crew load and unload crated food to local community food members. If you have patience, good people skills and the desire to support others with minor needs to achieve the above tasks then get involved and help others to get involved socially.

Making and taking calls you will help place food orders for charities throughout Tayside and Fife. You will also give customer service if they have any queries or questions regarding their order. The food is delivered to groups serving those experiencing food poverty. FareShare receives donated food from the supply chain that is surplus and would end up in the waste stream. Environmentally and socially this is a great cause and we welcome those interested in helping in whatever way possible.
