The Royal Voluntary Service is recruiting for volunteer drivers in Moray. Our volunteer drivers provide an essential service transporting people to a medical appointment (e.g. hospital, GP, dental, opticians, vaccination) or social appointment (e.g. supermarket, lunch group; visit family/friends; hairdressers). This can be a local journey or longer (e.g. taking a client to an appointment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary). Volunteers will use their own vehicle – expenses reimbursed for mileage 45p per mile. Full training will be provided.

We are looking for friendly volunteer drivers for the Patient Discharge Transport service based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This is a response service where you will be on a rota based on site at ARI to take patients safely home. Home can be anywhere in the Grampian area.
• Volunteers use their own vehicle to drive patient’s safely home.
• Uniform and full training provided.
• Mileage will be reimbursed.
• Service operates Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
• Minimum commitment: one shift per week (2 hours per shift).
