To preserve as a working railway for the education and enjoyment of the public, part of the former Deeside Railway line. To colledt and preserve examples of steam and other locomitives, carriages and wagons and restore buildings of historidcal interest. To enable and encourage any members of the public to participate irrespective of gender, race or disability.
Join our group of volunteers providing hospitality and retail services at our Milton of Crathes railway station. A coffee shop located in our railway carriages and a small shop on the platform are popular with visitors and provide a valuable source of income to our railway project.

Just enthusiasm and a willingness to join our railway preservation society project.
Play a key role in our very important interface with our customers either as part of the team providing on board catering or in the retail shop selling tickets, toys and memorabilia”
Fulfill those childhood dreams – train to become a driver and or guard for our steam and diesel locomotives and whistle on down the line with our passenger carrying services”.
Join our group of keen volunteers of all ages re-constructing a two-and-a half mile stretch of historic reilway track, heritage station builidings, associated sidings, and signalling. The work is mainly outdoors and fairly physical but as some volunteers are over retirement age, not too arduous and according to ability and experience, tools and euiipment are supplied.
