The aim of our small charity is to improve the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of those who feel isolated and also to offer support to those living with dementia, as well as their carers. We offer a Befriending Service for older people as well as dementia cafés in local communities. We are looking for someone to develop a new website and to review and improve our IT and email set-up. You will need IT skills and experience of website development as well as practical experience and knowledge. We are a team of three who have limited technical expertise so we need someone with the necessary skills to liaise and communicate with us in simple English! We are very enthusiastic about what we do and try to find the fun in things, but IT issues are SO not fun for us and we need help! This is a great opportunity for someone to develop and showcase their IT skills. It could suit someone who finds themselves with spare time and who would like to offer our charity the benefit of their experience.
