NHS Grampian Public Involvement Network

The Network is a group of patients, carers and the general public who are particularly interested in health services across Grampian. Members of the Network work in partnership with clinical staff and managers as a large group and sometimes as individuals on working groups and committees.

Much of the Forum's work is associated with issues that impact on the whole of Grampian. The work can involve participating in working groups or discussion sessions, completing questionnaires and other methods that we are using to actively involve the general public, carers and patients in helping develop a local health service.

Current opportunities

NHS Grampian is launching an exciting new initiative for the people of Moray to get involved in. The 'Public Empowerment Group' (PEG) is a forum where local people can have a say about how health and social care services will be delivered in the future as part of the Dr Gray’s Hospital Transformation Programme and Operation Home First. The PEG will also help to ensure that any information about new models of health and social care is given in ways that everyone can understand and access. The group is open to anyone aged 16+ with recent personal experience of health and social care in Moray, whether they are themselves a service user or support someone who accesses those services. The group welcomes participants from all walks of life and backgrounds.

NHS Grampian is always recruiting members of the public to be part of the NHS Grampian Public Involvement Network. The NHS Grampian Public Involvement Network is a group of patients, carers and members of the public from across Grampian who have an interest in health and health services. Members are also sent regular updates and notice of other opportunities to get involved with NHS Grampian e.g.: focus groups, local events. A great opportunity to be involved and help develop the NHS in Grampian.
