We are a small charity in Aberdeen City who have the benefit of a beautiful garden where Survivors of sexual violence can spend time enjoying peace and tranquillity. Due to the work load of our staff and Volunteer Support Workers, we are not able to maintain the garden consistently and therefore are looking for someone or a few individuals who would be able to spare an hour or so per week to cut the grass and maintain the flower boarders etc. Excellent support is provided to all volunteers. The Volunteer(s) would be given a brief introduction/induction to the charity and equipment used to carry out the tasks. The benefits to Survivors, staff and Volunteer Support Workers is immense so your input would be highly valued by the charity. For further details please contact Wilma Thomson, Manager on email: manager@rasane.org.uk or tel.: 01224 590932.
