Current opportunities

Are you passionate about improving outcomes for our young people? Can you spare one evening a week? We are looking for volunteers to take on one-to-one befriender roles. The role of a befriender involves planning activities for your young person, such as cinema trips and outings to local attractions, offering them opportunities to grow in confidence and improve their well-being. As well as volunteer befrienders, we have at present some participants who are particularly interested in sport so we are also looking for more active volunteers. In return, you will be fully supported by our dedicated staff, reimbursed for any expenses relating to your voluntary role and, of course, have the opportunity to make a positive difference to the life of a young person.

Can you help us improve outcomes for our young people? We are looking for volunteer drivers, who can spare one evening a week, to transport young people to and from our group sessions. Your role will be vital in removing barriers to opportunities and reducing social isolation, helping young people engage with activities that strengthen friendships and build confidence. In return, you will be fully supported by our dedicated staff, reimbursed for any expenses relating to your voluntary role and, of course, have the opportunity to make a positive difference to the life of a young person.

Can you spare an evening a week to help run a group, giving young people some much-needed fun? Are you passionate about giving our younger participants opportunities to grow in confidence and develop friendships? We require a team of volunteers to organise activities, such as games, sports and crafts. Our volunteers are responsible for transporting young people to and from each session. Therefore, you must be able to drive and have access to a car to take on this role. In return, you will receive the full support of our dedicated staff members, reimbursement for any expenses relating to your voluntary role and, of course, the truly rewarding experience of making a positive impact to a young person’s life.
