Kilbryde Hospice is a voluntary independent hospice which exists to provide specialist palliative care to patients with life limiting progressive illnesses, and to their relatives and carers. Services provided by Kilbryde Hospice are available to those people with palliative care needs.
Kilbryde Hospice have an in patient unit, Day Services, Drop In, Out patient services, CLAN (formerly Care@Home) carers and family services, wellbeing, and spiritual care.


Current opportunities

As a volunteer Retail Assistant you are a vital part of fundraising for the Hospice. You may be providing customer service or sorting donations, helping to maintain the standards in our shops, preparing the stock for sale or on the till processing the sales. If you want to volunteer customer facing or behind the scenes we can find the perfect role for you.

A counter assistant is an important role in the day to day running of our community café. You will be welcoming customers, helping to serve the food and refreshments, cleaning tables and helping with the dishwasher. You may be helping on the till to take orders if you would like to be trained.

- Operating the till - Tagging of stock - Sorting, preparing and replenishing stock - Sales floor maintenance and general housekeeping - Engaging with the public to raise awareness of the work of Kilbryde Hospice and encourage the donation of quality goods - Participate as part of a team. - Attend regular support and training sessions relevant to the role
