Erskine provides unrivalled support to Veterans in Scotland, through three care homes and a Veterans Village, comprising of 44 cottages, an Activities Centre, five Assisted Living Apartments and 24 Transitional Supported Apartments.

Erskine’s strength lies in the very special blend of dedicated care, compassion and understanding we offer to residents and their families.

Erskine care for nearly 1,000 residents each year; our care homes provide Veterans with the companionship of like-minded people. Erskine not only care for their Veterans – we care about them.

Role at a Glance: As an Events Volunteer, you'll be at the forefront of generating vital funds to support our Veterans. Your enthusiasm will light up various community settings as you: 📆 Schedule: Coordinate with our fundraising team based on your availability, making this a flexible commitment. 🏢 Event Setup/Clear up: Play a crucial role in setting up and tidying event/venue areas and displays, ensuring everything runs smoothly. 📋 Registration Desk Host: Welcome participants with a warm smile and assist them with registrations. 🛍️ Merchandise Maestro: Show off your sales skills by manning our Erskine-branded merchandise stalls. 🎟️ Raffle Rockstar: Sell raffle tickets and/or collect donations on-site during events. 🚚 Logistics Pro: Help transport goods and resources to and from event venues. 🏃 General Runner: Be the go-to person for various on-the-day tasks that keep the event running seamlessly. 🎉 Event Extraordinaire: If you're up for it, you might even contribute to event entertainment, activities, or event photography to capture the magic. 🤝 Support Ambassador: Provide support, encouragement, and resources to event participants taking on sponsorship challenges. Time Commitment: Length: A minimum of one day. Weekly Hours: 2-8 hours, depending on your availability. We're flexible to accommodate your schedule. Training Requirements: 🌟 Core Induction: Get acquainted with Erskine's history mission and values. 🏛️ Site Briefing: Familiarise yourself with the event location and role tasks. 🤝 Optional Fundraising Session: Enhance your fundraising knowledge to learn re our targets and how our money is spent on veterans Diversity and Inclusion: Erskine welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities, aged 14 and above. You don't need prior experience; our training program will support you every step of the way. We need your help to support this event and help raise vital funds for Scotland's ex-Service men and women. We are looking for volunteers to help with bucket collections and running the Erskine stand during the four days of the show? Could you spare 2 hours between 10am and 5pm on Fri 24th, Sat 25th, Sun 26th or Mon 27th May on show days. The role will include bucket collecting, supporting us to staff our Erskine stand, welcoming guests and giving out stickers and balloons to donators. As a thank you for helping, you will receive free access to the show. Thank you.

We need your help! Can you please spare 2 hours to support this event and help us with bucket collecting to raise vital funds for our veterans - Scotland’s Ex-Service men and women. We are looking for volunteers with a happy friendly personality, you don’t need previous experience, we will give full training and support. The event is fully accessible, and volunteers can bring additional support if required. Please help with setting up, selling raffle tickets, collecting donations and running the Erskine Stands. You can choose a 2 hour session (or more) between 11:30am and 5pm on Sunday 26th May to help us bucket collect and welcome everyone along! About the Event The Erskine Motorbike Meet is the biggest bike meet throughout the west of Scotland. You can expect over 1,000 bikes, a fun filled family village, market stalls and some amazing food. There will be enjoyment for everyone with a bouncy castle and bungee jump for the daring! We are looking for volunteers with availability morning and afternoon on Sunday 26th May 2024. As a thank you for helping, you will receive free access to the Motorbike Meet. It is always a fantastic fun event, with the chance for civilians to mingle with some of our inspiring veterans – everyone is welcome!
