Current opportunities

Volunteers will be required to support group members to organise meetings, including the arrangements of guest speakers. To serve tea, coffee etc. To engage service users in conversation, offering a listening ear and assist the group to plan to meet a variety of needs and interests. To act as sighted guide / communication support whilst on group outings.

Volunteer Drivers are needed to support our more isolated service users to attend our various social groups within the centre as well as some external appointments. We are looking for a reliable, friendly and approachable volunteer who is willing to support service users using their own vehicle. Experience of sign language and/or sighted guide would be useful, although training will be given.
