We combat loneliness by providing facilities for our community elderly to be socially interactive. We are looking for a cook 2 days per week to cater for around 30-35 elderly people each day, offering "plain hearty food, nothing too fancy" such as homemade soup, stew, mince, macaroni etc. Due to the preference of our service users, we are not looking for someone who is keen to experiment with spices. Food prep can be done the day before or early morning of the lunch days. This opportunity would suit someone who is looking to give up some of their free time, possibly in their retirement.
