Angus Housing Association is seeking to recruit volunteers to our Management Committee. We are a registered charity regulated by both OSCR and the Scottish Housing Regulator and have a staff team of around 40.
Do you have an interest in the supply and provision of new homes, charity finance or governance? Do you want the opportunity to set strategy, improve your leadership skills and make a difference to local communities? If you do we would be very interested in hearing from you.
The Committee meetings are usually held on Wednesday mornings with Committee training following this if required. Our full Management Committee meets 6 times a year. We have 2 sub-committees for Finance & Audit and Service Delivery which meet quarterly. Typically, Committee members are on one of the sub-committees, making the commitment 10 meetings a year.
Committee members oversee the work of professional staff to deliver high standards of service. They receive training, attend conferences and are well supported to play their part in running these substantial, not for profit, businesses.
