GCHC are delighted to be partnering with Silverburn on their in centre summer activity, Flamingo Beach. Flamingo Beach will be located inside the centre and will be open to children and families visiting the centre. For an entry fee of £2.50 per child, visitors will gain access to the beach and have the opportunity to play in the sand, build sand castles and play with the beach toys. Parents and carers will have a comfortable decking area to sit on and watch on as their kids have fun. The indoor beach will be open to the public each day from Monday 26th June to Wednesday 16th August, and our volunteers will support with obtaining entry fees from visitors and ensuring everyone is happy in the beach. We also have a small retail space across from the beach that will need to be manned by volunteers, selling beach themed merchandise and products. The shift options for this opportunity are 10:30am to 2pm or 2pm to 5pm each day. This is a great opportunity for anyone that enjoys interacting with the public and would like to have a direct impact by helping to raise vital funds that support our young patients, their families and our NHS heroes at the hospital.
