CVS Inverclyde are recruiting volunteers to support their Digital Information, Assistance & Learning Service. The service will be offered to individuals who need additional support using IT to access digital resources and to develop their confidence with digital skills and cyber safety awareness.
Volunteers do not need to be qualified or have a high degree of technical skill to provide support. They just need to be confident in their day-to-day digital skills and feel able to guide people who are less familiar with digital skills.
CVS Inverclyde are recruiting Bank Volunteers to assist on evenings and weekends to Meet & Greet patients who are attending a community venue to receive the COVID-19 Injection. Community venues are being utilised to all for social distancing and to ensure that GP Practices are not overwhelmed.
The volunteers will be required in the short term to assist during increased opening hours at the clinics below:
•Greenock Town Hall
•Port Glasgow Town Hall
•Kilmacolm Community Centre
•Other Inverclyde Venues
The Vaccine Clinics will be rolled out to all age groups throughout Inverclyde. We expect that a large percentage of the vaccines will be administered via the community venues.
Your role will ensure that patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and be on hand to navigate the patients where appropriate.
