LOVE aims to support vulnerable individuals by using innovative ways to engage them in learning. We aim to improve the education and life chances of children, young people and adults, as well as their families. Services are predominantly provided to those who have missed out on education for a variety of reasons and we have a specific focus on those with additional support needs.
Assisting in the growing and maintenance of the garden areas within the farm. General gardening tasks need to be undertaken - sowing, potting on, watering, digging, weeding, pruning etc. There is possible opportunity to help with environmental programmes on the farm in the future.
This role will be to assist our maintenance employee in his various duties, including fixing equipment, fences, painting, checking on health and safety procedures and fire safety policies, masonry, joinery, plumbing, refurbishment projects and general site upkeep.
