No-one Dies Alone Ayrshire (South Ayrshire)

To vigil/support people who are dying in their final hours.
To support and give respite to those with families who need it.

Current opportunity

Through the kindness of trained, compassionate companions the No-One Dies Alone Ayrshire program provides companionship and support for dying people, and their families, at the end of life. The companion’s honour and respect for the person’s dignity and comfort as death approaches is at the heart of this program. Main duties will involve sitting with people who are dying and alone, or for those with families who need either respite or some support.
