We are Scotland’s health charity supporting people and their families across Scotland with chest, heart and stroke conditions. We want to make sure life living with a chest or heart condition or after a stroke is a life lived to the full. We will fight for better health for everyone and work to make sure there is help and support in every community.

Current opportunities

The role includes: * Sorting stock * Hanging and ticketing stock * Steaming Stock * Ticketing bric-a-brac * Pricing books Help keep the stock room clean and tidy.

The role includes: * To liase with the shop manager and regional support manager around the recruitment and retention needs of the shop. * To support the shop manager on interviewing prospective volunteers in line with CHSS procedures. *To use local knowledge and contracts to promote volunteering opportunities for the shop. For example using publicity material in local areas such as Health Centres, community centres and dentists etc. *To contact job centres, training agencies etc for potential volunteers or trainees. * To promote one volunteer recruitment day in the shop per annum with the support of the manager. * To contribute to the shops 6 month recruitment plan. * To assist with training and induction of new volunteers as required. * To liase with the Volunteer development manager and retail operations manager about any volunteering issues.

This is an opportunity to undertake a satisfying and rewarding role as part of the shop team volunteers. Working in a friendly atmosphere while providing an extremely useful and appreciated role. The role includes: * Assisting customers and making them feel welcome * customer service and sales service * putting stock on the sales floor from the stock room * keepig the rails and shelves tidy * operating the till * rotating stock

The role inculdes: * Selecting stock for shop windows * Organising a theme for the displays * Dressing window models and window displays * Dressing interior displays
