Dundee Design Project CIC
Charity registered in Scotland
Dundee Design Project CIC was established to promote the work of talented local artists, writers and makers through showcasing and selling their work in the Wellgate Shop. We have additional workshop space where we can facilitate workshops for promoting the arts to a wider audience, concentrating on the recycling and reuse of materials.
The work will b to keep the accounts up-to-date and have them ready for the annual audit/tax return. This involves reconciling bank statements and card payment statements, ensuring bills are paid on time and banking cash.
They will also be responsible for applying for any grants and funding appropriate to the project.
We require someone who has an interest in the arts with good organisational skills. The main role of this job is to recruit, motivate, train and coordinate the team members who will be woking in the shop so the ability to communicate and organise staff rotas is essential.
The role of the Workshop Coordinator is to promote the workshop space to its full potential through word of mouth/contacts, other organisations, voluntary and non-voluntary and social media. Good organisational skills and good communication are an advantage.
The other important aspect to this is to research, apply for and follow up any funding and grants. An interest in the arts if preferable but not essential.
