Based at The Hospital for Children and Young People, we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and social media savvy support volunteer, who can dedicate a couple of hours a week to creating new content for for our channels with the emphasis of capturing video for Instagram reels.

We are seeking friendly and approachable people with excellent communication skills to support the activities of the Children’s Wellbeing team in the hospital. Volunteers will be trained to support families using The Hub, our drop-in service in the hospital and can progress to supporting activities on the wards. If you can provide a friendly face, enthusiasm for activities and listening ear when needed this might be the role for you.

Based at one of the main entrance reception desks, you will be the friendly face to welcome children, families and visitors to Edinburgh's children's hospital and assist with their visit. Tasks will include: •Greeting people entering the building and assisting them as needed. •Directing/way finding in conjunction with NHS volunteers. •Providing information about ECHC and how our services can support their visit. •Promoting ECHC events and fundraising activities. •Receiving donations.
